Daniel J Clark

Thanks for taking a look at my stuff! You might be noticing that there's a lot of diversity in the work I have here, and that's because I really love to do it all. I have worked in film in almost every capacity—as a director, editor, cinematographer, sound designer, graphics, and more. This gives me a lot of insight because being aware of the abilities and limitations in all these roles allows me to work better and manage productions more efficiently to get the best possible outcome.

My directorial debut feature documentary "Behind the Curve" had its world premiere at Hot Docs Film Festival in April, 2018 and has played festivals all around the world ever since. It is currently available on iTunes, Amazon Video, Google Play, and Netflix. I have also directed series for IFC, Funny or Die, and an independent television pilot, Cowards, which won “Best Comedy Pilot” at the New York Television Festival in 2014. My past work has premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, Full Frame Documentary Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, and in theaters across the world. I also edited a few seasons of the Netflix series "Ugly Delicious." Most recently, I directed an onslaught of 31 comedy shorts with comedian Joe Kwaczala (Comedy Central, Clickhole).

Before all this, I studied music engineering and physics at Ball State University and received a Master's from Syracuse University in Television, Radio & Film. When I'm not watching or making movies or TV, I am usually sitting at my drum set or catching up on esports.
